Whatever. It was all Girardi getting these young kids to play hard.

Another Marlin plays extraordinarily well for his age
Well looky there--the former unknowns on the Marlins roster continue to show ridiculous amounts of talent. And this is happening because:
A) an Italian, buzzcutted ex-catcher watching from the dugout made them this way.
B) Latin players are better equipped to handle the sun.
C) they're good.
If you are a Cubs fan who believes Joe Girardi would teach Ronny Cedeno to field, Caesar Izturis to hit, Jacque Jones's arm to throw hard/accurately, or Take Your Pick to draw an f-ing walk, take note--MANAGERS SCARCELY MAKE HARDLY ANY DIFFERENCE AT ALL WHATSOEVER.
Yes, the Marlins roster is young. But they're also pretty damn good, regardless of age. They have a CY YOUNG CONTENDER, PEOPLE. Always angling the story back toward the manager unfairly discredits the players. Joe Girardi might be the only name you recognize in the Marlins media guide because you haven't watched a game since 1997, but that does not give you an excuse to incessantly credit him for the Marlins' surprising success.
Better yet, let's just change the Manager of the Year Award to the Manager of the Most Pleasantly Surprising Team. That's all it's really ever been, anyway.
(Sorry, I don't mean to trump the more timely football stories, but I've still got two months of baseball before I hibernate. We can delete this tomorrow.)
Answer: both B) and C).
