This is one of those lame pet peeve-y posts, but seriously--Joliet is not Chicago. Nor is it near Chicago.

As usual, however, today's race at Joliet's Route 66 Raceway is being billed as a Chicago event by the national race media. ESPN even had the audicity to open and close its SportsCenter race preview with shots of the Chicago skyline from Lake Michigan.

How they got those shots all the way from Joliet, I couldn't tell you. It must be a magic camera or something.
