Lock of the Week
>> Wednesday
Well, this may not be the best week to debut my new feature. However, through my participation in an NFL Survival pool, I must choose one guaranteed winner a week, and can only choose a team once. This week, my choice is the Miami Dolphins over the Tennessee Titans. I know the Dolphins looked absolutely dreadful last week, but I believe Nick Saban will not allow them to go 0-3. Plus, the Titans really suck and the Raiders have a bye this week. Like my man Smooth Jimmy Apollo says, I have a 52% chance of being correct.

This really is a hard week to pick any kind of "lock" but come on Zuch, the easiest games to pick are the primetimers...
New England over a Denver team that refuses to let Jake Plummer go, and a Saints team that will disappoint in their highly-anticipated home opener against the best team in the NFC.
Those are MY locks...that, and Larry Johnson will rush for 0 yards.
New England has looked nowhere near good enough to guarantee them to beat a solid Denver team. I'm staying the fuck away from Saints game cause I have no clue about how emotion will play into it, plus I'm still skeptical about Falcons.
Plus, Vegas agrees with me, with Fins being 11 point faves.
Hopefully one of them is Kellen "I don't give a hell" Winslow Jr.
I sure as hell wouldn't give a hell were Kellen Winslow to die.
P.S.: I didn't actually mean that last comment. I swear.
Hahaha, I think those are stolen from Burns and Allen. Hey, I'll admit "Bach in a Minuet" got me laughing.
Man, it's time we just faced up to the facts and admit that the ads for the blogs on our comment pages are way funnier than anything we actually write on the site. And wasn't that last "riddle" just Byrds lyrics?
Well, there's a reason why I majored in journalism, yet have no plans to follow that career path. And I used Baltimore last week, following the pick against the Raiders approach.
Yeah, I couldn't figure out if the Byrds lyrics/Bible verse was supposed to be a riddle or if that's just the blogger user's signature. Either way, it's pretty funny.
