Wooo, Chicago! Yea-ah! Arena Bowl champs, baby!...

Actually, I had no idea the Rush were even in the Arena Bowl or that the Arena Bowl was taking place until about 12:30 left in the 3rd quarter of said Arena Bowl. But now that it's over, let me be the first to say I called it and believed they would do it because I'm primo Rush fan numero uno.

For a football player, the only thing more thrilling than being part of the best team in the AFL is being part of the worst team in the NFL, or of any of the other thirty-one NFL franchises. However, no NFL team is part-owned by the legendary Mike Ditka, who has now won both Super Bowl XX and Arena Bowl XX and now has his sights set on The Amazing Race XX. [rimshot]

So congrats to the Chicago Rush, who will undoubtedly be the last championship team in the city of Chicago for at least twenty-five more years.
