I've found a new "Favorite English Translation of a Spanish Athlete Name" to replace previous title-holder Jorge de la Rosa, the Brewers reliever whose name translates to "George of the Rose." (See how this works?)

It's Team USA member Carlos Bocanegra, or to us gringos, "Charley Blackmouth." I love it because it sounds like a villain in an old western.
