NFL Thoughts Week 5

>> Tuesday

Boy this Denver team would have a chance to do something this year if they had a real QB. On a related note, it's still not too late for Jay Cutler to change uniform numbers, as I cannot remember a good QB who wore #6(Apologies to Bubby Brister).

The Steve McNair injury pool has begun: I got week 9

That Philip Rivers guy may have a future. And please, I need to hear more San Diego, Super Chargers.

Speaking of hokey songs, damn do I miss NFL Primetime. You just can't beat Chris Berman's rendition of the Lito Shuffle.

Speaking of Lito Shuffle, I was humming it all Saturday. It may not have not been on the level of my Marquette-UConn psychic preminition, but maybe my calling is to replace Miss Cleo.

It's nice to see Donovan McNabb having an MVP season and T.O. already turning on Bledsoe.

Ok, so I was wrong about the Cards again. At least Leinart looks like the real deal.

The Raiders, 12 games away from history.

Damn, the Chiefs must have pissed off some people in the NFL. Tony Gonzalez fans, I'd be worried about the things happen in threes theory.

Good to see the J-E-T-S we know and love show up Sunday.

The Colts apparently spent a little bit too much time hanging with the Bengals Saturday night.

Yes, the St. Louis Rams are 4-1. They have a big chance to prove themselves this Sunday versus Seattle.

Da Bears dominant again. The much anticipated Ditka-Norris duel needs to be booked during Super Bowl pre-game show.

Detroit, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory for well over 40 years.

Carolina solidly back on track with 3 in a row.

Ok, the Mark Brunell rennaisance officially has expired.

A Daunte Culpepper-Joey Harrington quarterback duel. The jokes are writing themselves these days.

Bruce Gradkowski, the MAC has done it again. Meanwhile, Reggie Bush finally found the endzone.

Top 5 teams:
1. Da Bears
2. Chargers
3. Broncos
4. Jaguars
5. Colts

Bottom Five:
28. Packers
29. Texans
30. Lions
31. Titans
32. Rauders

Not that I really give a shit how you rank your teams, but how do you not have Philly in your top five?

It was between them and Colts for #5, but the Colts get the slight edge thanks to 5-0 record. Both teams do not have the overall talent to make serious runs in the playoffs, but their QB's have done great jobs in getting them to this point.
