Mercenary Band Doesn't Cut It for Seminoles
>> Thursday
What was the missing piece in Florida State's Thursday night loss to NC State? There were a lot of them actually: trombones, drums, saxaphones, among others.
Under the impression that everyone has the same bedtime as him, Bobby Bowden elected to leave the band and cheerleaders at home, and hired some scrubs to replace them.
The result: FSU becomes the second ranked team in as many weeks to fall prey to the Wolfpack, 24-20. If I've said it once, I've said it a million times: If you settle for second-rate talent, you're going to get a second-rate performance.
Also, I have a feeling that Chuck Amato is going to get really ripped tonight.

A well-placed, timed, and tuned piccolo is essential to any team that wishes to contend.
