The last minute of college games this season could be really boring
>> Saturday
Thanks to our very own Wisconsin Badgers (of course, by "our" I mean Bechtel and I, but none of you other ND lovers matter).
For those of you who missed it, Brett Bielema had his kickoff team intentionally run offsides on two consecutive kickoffs at the end of the first half. Because the new rules have the clock start when the ball is kicked, the Badgers were able to run the final :23 off the clock with Penn State's offense standing helplessly on the sideline.
What unfolds over the next week should be interesting since you can't change a rule in the middle of the season. If the officials are unable to do anything about this little glitch in the new system, a lot of close games could end in consecutive penalties and a squib kick from the 10-yard line.

I think the clock rule changes this year are pretty retarded, and I guess this is Exhibit A. Kudos to the Wisconsin coaching staff being the first to pick up on this little glitch.
Also, remember when Martin Sheen came to Marquette a couple years back? It was to promote that movie, right?
