It's not the first time he's pulled a dick move

Jeff Van Gundy, you are no longer welcome in Milwaukee. In Steve Novak's first return to the Bradley Center as a pro, Van Gundy played him for a grand total of 0 minutes. Tonight was the first time all season that Novak didn't register a minute. So Milwaukee fans (including Gavin and myself) flowed into the arena, ready to give Novak a warm welcoming when he went into the game, except he never did, even when the game was well in hand for the Rockets. Bitch move Jeff. Bitch move.

Yeah, I checked the box score after the game, and at first I was like, "Bummer. He didn't play tonight." Then I remembered whom they were playing and that Bechtel said you were there. Man, what a raw deal.
I'm guessing Steve never spoke up for himself to let Van Gundy know where he went to college. And since Van Gundy's an elf, he has more pressing worries. That, and he probably secretly resents Novak for his height. (However, that wouldn't explain Yao's huge minutes.)
Zuch, where's your Marquette preview? Opening night is manana, hombre.
Marquette preview is coming. Speaking of beloved, as I posted on Marquette Hoops, Van Gundy is an idiotic bald little imp. Really, are Kirk Snyder and Scott Padgett better players than Novak? Novak proved he could play in the preseason, but apparently the follicly challenged lilliputian was too busy worrying about Zo kicking his sorry ass again.
I think that's my favorite characterization of Jeff Van Gundy ever.
