Oh my God...I just had to turn off the Sunday night game for about ten minutes just because I couldn't stand to listen to the damned Chevy commercial again. John Mellencamp is single-handedly killing my love of sports--as if I didn't despise his music enough already. Holy shit. I can only guess how much that SOB is making in royalties off that cliche of a joke of a gimmick of a song. I hope he gets expatriated somehow. It would only be fair.
Speaking of TV commercials but totally unrelated, I'm convinced that that old Jewish guy in the Lexus commercial who says, "...and the calculators kept getting smaller," is Bill Plaschke. Watch for it next time.

Fuck it, I still love the Coug. Yea that song does become annoying rather quick, but he actually was a really good songwriter before he horribly sold out.

Speaking of Mellencamp, I was thinking about buying an Chevy this spring, but everytime I hear that damn song, it makes me want to throw up.
If Mellencamp doesn't shut up soon, I'm buying a Hyundai just to piss him off.
