It's the sound of that Mellencamp/Chevy ad campain finally, finally fading from our tortured ears forever! At least that's what the toned-down, sparsely-played version of the commercial during the Giants-Cowboys game says to me.

Taking their place, apparantly, are those creepy car commercials that show people getting in accidents.
As put by Bechtel, they got JACKED UP!
Can we replace them with commercials starring Eagle Man instead? I miss those.
I'll take creepy anyday over saccharine, ultrapatriotic retread nonsense.
