At this point, I think the readers of Yellow Chair Sports understand that we have a beef with many aspects of ESPN and their multitude of business ventures. Well, to pile on some more, Scouts Inc., ESPN's lame attempt to replicate actual scouting services, rates Brian Urlacher a 90 on their player scale and Lance Briggs a 75. First of all, rating Lance Briggs the 25th best linebacker shows that they don't watch football, or can't comprehend the simplest of things, like Briggs making his presence known on damn near every defensively play, especially in the run game. Secondly, there is no wide gap in the play of Briggs and Urlacher, especially when a lot of the times Urlacher is there to clean up on Briggs's hard work stopping the play. Brian Urlacher is a damn good playmaker, but can be wildly inconsistent at times. On the other hand, Briggs always shows up and makes an impact in every game. Of course, Jerry Angelo has not extended Briggs's contract yet, but that shouldn't come as a shock, seeing as how this is the same man who drafted Cedric Benson ahead of Cadillac Williams. Anyway, here's some advice to the people at Scouts Inc: actually watch for things other than sacks and interceptions on defense, and you will understand why players like Lance Briggs are better than a lot of their more hyped colleagues.

there is nothing wrong with Cedric Benson.. he will be a solid every down back, and u jerks (matt z especially) will be sucking his dick and then mine for being right about him... you'll see! bitches! you just got pwn3d!
holy crap. we actually have a reader.
Compare this to the deserved rating of one A.J. Hawk: 649 (the number of heads he will have in his locker at the end of the season)
