Why The Doorman Kicks Ass
>> Wednesday
I don't know if many (or any) of you know who "The Doorman" is at Brewers games, but he's this guy with season tickets that sits in the front row right next to the opposing team's dugout and makes a door-opening motion or something whenever an opposing player strikes out. Usually it's just your typical heckling, whatever, no big deal.
But, tonight, during the 5th inning of the Brewers-Giants game he did something pretty clever. When Bonds struck out swinging against Dave Bush, he had to walk back to the dugout past "The Doorman," at which point the fan stood up, held up a copy of Game of Shadows and a pen and asked Bonds to sign it.
God bless "The Doorman."
