OK, which official press release is unintentionally funnier?

Kansas State students have apparently made it a tradition of smuggling live chickens into games against Kansas to mock the Jayhawk. The university administration and PETA want them to stop. From the SI.com story, which probably has the funniest out-of-context headline ever.
From PETA
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals responded to the latest incident during a game Feb. 19 by sending a letter to university president Jon Wefald, claiming at least three chickens were thrown on the court during player introductions.
The letter described chickens as "very intelligent and inquisitive animals."
From K-State
"These actions severely tarnish the image of our University, its athletics teams and the majority of our outstanding fans and supporters "
This is being the image of a school in Manhattan , Kansas , that went 7-6 in football, hasn't beaten their cross-state rival at home in basketball in 24 years, and whose fans make it a tradition to throw live fowl onto the court.

To answer the title question: PETA wins. I have never heard a chicken described as "intelligent and inquisitive" although they do tend to pester me with all of their knowledge-seeking questions. Damn chickens.
Also...
Arise chicken...chicken arise!
If you don't get it, fuck you.
I don't get it. And how dare you speak to me like that.
