Lock of the Week
>> Sunday
After last week breaking my incredible streak of accurate predictions--sixteen in a row by my count--I'm ready to get back to my winning ways.
For Week 2, the pick is obvious. The 49ers go into Frasiertown with just a 6.5-point handicap. It doesn't take a Bob "Bulldog" Brisco-calliber sports expert to know that the Seahawks would cover this spread with Niles Crane at quarterback.
Seahawks (-6.5) over the 49ers. Book it!

Niles playing QB ain't the problem. It's the fact that they have the rest of the goddamn supporting cast of Frasier and some walk-ons from Cheers playing receiver. This one'll be close, methinks.
I'm with Bechtel in that I'd avoid this game at all costs. For those obsessive-compulsive types who feel the need to bet every game, I'd actually recommend the 49ers because of Seattle being decimated by injuries.
My personal lock of the week is the Bills getting 5 points at home against a banged up Jaguars team. I like the Bills to outright win the game, and Jacksonville getting 5 points is way too reflective of last season (when the right side of Jacksonville's line were not on I-R).
Apparently that Bills game is at Jacksonville, but fuck it, I stand by my bad prediction.
Atta boy, Zuch. You were right on the Bills and we were both right on the ugly 'Niners/Seahawks game. I'd like to have also had the wherewithal to take the under on the Vikings/Colts game.
